Timothy ‘Tim’ Minor, CAPM


Timothy Minor is retired from the U.S. Army where he had rolls as a military police officer and K9 handler. Tim is a Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Security and Intelligence at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University- Prescott in 2021. 

During his studies, Tim started designing new security machine learning and simulation software for his company T.A.Minor. These elements allow for quantitative, historical, and local data to be added into judgment for developing the best solution for the customer. 

Tim brings an engineer’s perspective and the warfighter’s perspective to his company. His experience allows the company to have abilities to look from technical and analytical perspectives. Other key components of the business operations include cyber security and red teaming for physical security. Tim started T.A.Minor with the mission to remain truly independent and reaffirms that every year as being a member of IAPSC.

Mr. Minor was chosen as one of 13 consultants to receive the 40 Under 40 Award from Security Systems News and Security Industry Association class of 2020, earning renown as one of the youngest to ever receive the award in early 2021. 

He brings many other qualities to the table including but not limited to his Law Enforcement experience, crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED), ran complex narcotic detection, identification and investigations. With a background in Cyber Security and Intelligence, and his time working as a Systems Engineer working on some of the most complex engineering and security design situations. Armed with the knowledge of n coordinating and working with government agencies and physical security, cyber security, and operational security procedures. Tim also enjoys cyber security and its new and ever evolving field he is proficient in coding languages: C, C++, C#, PYTHON, Java/JavaScript, HTML, C shell, MATLAB

Tim’s enjoys working on in Entertainment Venues, Commercial buildings, and Data Centers. His area of concentration is Security Design using CPTED techniques and tactics, he enjoys using is innovative computer and in-person simulation techniques to insure that the best outcome for the client.
